It’s starting to get busy in the garden with the first of the seeds to be sown.
The work in the shed is coming to an end and it’s time to make the first sowings of the season.
Another year kicks off with sunshine but the ground is flooded so I spend the time in the shed doing DIY.
Highlights from the past year on Sean’s Allotment Garden.
Sean is away and the gang will play.
Sean heads to the local flower show to stage his sweetcorn while back at the allotment Vivi harvests the final crop of runner beans.
Sean visits the allotment of Growing for Showing Expert Chris Muzzall on the South Coast of England. On his return to the garden Sean starts sowing seed for next Spring and harvests more sweetcorn.
Sean is harvesting seed from the chives and tasting the cucumelons in the greenhouse. Geoff returns after his three week holiday but not to the clean weed-free plot he left behind!
Sean is collect seed in the flower garden and transplanting the lettuce and swiss beet into the open ground while Vivi is lifting her onions and reviewing her bean harvest.
